Every day, your body comes in contact with countless microorganisms, bacteria, environmental toxins and more. Those things don’t simply bounce off of your body, but can get inside, slowing you down. In fact, toxins will clog up your body every day, which the brain and body work to get rid of while you sleep, sweat and exercise. You can help pull toxins out of your body even quicker through infrared saunas. Find out how this type of sauna works to help you feel lighter and healthier!

Toxin Buildup In Your Body

Feeling fatigued? Maybe a little bit sluggish? You may need a detox to cleanse your body of toxins that could be dragging you down. Every day, you are exposed to toxins in the air, your environment, your food and from almost everything you come in contact with. Those toxins clog your cells and can make you have low-grade health problems each day. This is why detoxifying methods such as diet changes, drinking more water, exercising, and saunas can help you so much.

Detoxification releases toxins from your system that your body can’t get rid of naturally.  Cellular-level cleansing will provide a noticeable change in how you feel and how well your body works. Detoxing strengthens the immune system and helps the body’s biochemical processes function more efficiently (such as your digestive system when breaking down food for fuel). Detoxing has been linked to helping with problems such as fibromyalgia, autoimmune diseases, fatigue, low-energy, immune deficiency and more. The best way to detox the body is to use the largest organ of the body—the skin—to rid itself of the toxins. Infrared saunas can remove toxins in less than a half hour because of the changes infrared light can have within the cells in a short period of time.

What’s an Infrared Sauna?

Infrared rays are all around us and are healthy and safe for our consumption. It is thought that infrared rays can rejuvenate and clean the cells by eliminating toxins, leaving you feeling energetically rejuvenated and lighter. We use special infrared light rays specifically for these purposes—to deeply penetrate your skin and dissolve harmful toxins that can then be released from your body. We use those infrared rays in a special type of sauna, which is an infrared sauna.

Our sauna is different than traditional saunas that seek to raise your body temperature by raising the temperature of your environment. Our “Far Infrared Heat Therapy” utilizes wavelength technology to raise your body’s core temperature. By employing the wavelength of the visible and non-visible light spectrum of sunlight you can raise your body’s temperature more naturally than with traditional sauna methods. Traditional saunas increase the temperature of the air within the sauna chamber to warm your body.

The infrared sauna waves penetrate deeply into your body distributing deep heating treatment which triggers the body to activate the sweat glands. The sweat glands offer a natural pathway your body has to eliminate toxins. Since the skin is the largest organ in the human body, it is an excellent transport for elimination of toxins.

Differences Compared to a Regular Sauna

Livestrong magazine reported the differences between traditional and infrared saunas. Because infrared light is used in infrared saunas, a lower temperature environment between 120 and 150 degrees can cause a better and deeper sweat than the higher temperatures used in traditional saunas. Both traditional and infrared saunas will cause you to sweat out toxins, but infrared saunas provide a deeper detoxification as the sweat infrared light waves travel deep into your body. Essentially, deeper layers of your skin will have the cells open up with an infrared sauna compared to regular saunas that just get the surfaces skin layers.

Infrared saunas do not use steam and humidity as compared to steam saunas (the most common). Traditional dry saunas use stoves to heat the air and increase the temperature of your body. Traditional steam saunas heat the air through steam, creating concentrated humidity. Infrared saunas rely solely upon heating the air with infrared heaters that emit wavelengths of infrared light. Infrared saunas are the only saunas to provide a deep penetrating treatment to the cells to remove toxins and cleanse the body.

How Do You Benefit?

Using a sauna with infrared light can help you feel more rejuvenated than other cellular detoxing methods. Studies show that these types of saunas bring benefits such as:

  • Weight loss, both from sweating and removing gunk from your system that slows you down
  • Boosting metabolism because cells can work more efficiently for energy use
  • Fatigue reduction once toxins have been removed
  • Less stress
  • Improved skin appearance
  • Immune system boost from fewer toxins in the body
  • Helps ease joint pain and stiffness because there are fewer toxins causing inflammation
  • Relieves aches and pains and other symptoms caused by toxins in the body

Remove Toxins with an Infrared Sauna Today

If you feel fatigued, sluggish, or have low-grade health problems each day without a cause, your body could simply have too many toxins. Many people don’t realize that toxin buildup happens each day and can contribute to worsening health, especially when symptoms don’t lead to a diagnosable cause. We recommend making changes to your lifestyle to help with fatigue, migraines/headaches, aches and pains, digestive issues and other day-to-day problems that wear you down.

Eating nutritiously and exercising at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week will help remove toxins in your body that clog you up. Investing every so often in an infrared sauna can clean out the toxins that get left behind. Some users will feel an immediate difference in how they feel and that lightness and clarity from toxin removal can make you more productive during your day.
